TENT AND HALL DECORATIONS

Have fun and use your imagination for hall or tent decorations. Split rails, hay bales, antique windows and doors, old garden gates and wagon wheels will will make your interior space look special. Farm implements, like rakes and shovels, will work well for an informal look: you can borrow those from neighbours and friends. For a winter country wedding, antique sleds and toboggans and old cross-country skies and snowshoes add charm and enjoyment. Check out week-end flea markets for winter decorating pieces – often you can get mismatched skis and poles or old toboggans that still look good as decorations. If you hold your wedding on a country property, most owners have old implements and split rails – an old pump or wagon wheel looks great beside the head table.
